SLA-UNCG

Section 1.  Membership in SLA-UNCG is open to students currently or previously enrolled in the UNC-Greensboro Master of Library and Information Studies program.

 

Section 2.  Membership in SLA-UNCG requires no dues or fees. Members are encouraged, though not required, to become members of the Special Libraries Association. In the event of SLA-UNCG sponsored activities or events, members are responsible for any expenses related to transportation to and from the event unless specified.

 

Section 3. All officers must be members of SLA-UNCG with a graduation date at least one semester after the start of their term.

 

Section 4.  A Member shall have the right to participate in all SLA-UNCG activities, and to hold any open office or appointive position within SLA-UNCG. A non-member shall also have the right to participate in events without paying a fee. SLA-UNCG encourages the participation of distance learning students and will strive to make events accessible to them.

 

Section 5.  SLA-UNCG is open to all graduate students regardless of race, color, age, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual identity or orientation, marital status, physical or mental ability, ancestry, or medical condition, except as explicitly exempted in federal law.
